Many congrats to the winner of the little bit of love contest, Melissa B-W...I am so excited to get this little piece of art in the mail to you, it just awaits a clear coat of spray acrylic (which I hope to come across tomorrow...it just has to be buried in some box!!!)

Melissa is an old college chum, we met on a summer study in England and Ireland.  I love that she won this contest (yes, I draw at random and would be excited for any winner...duhzy) because she sent me the song of her first dance with her husband...presh.

First thought of 2012

Wrapping up our time in Minnesota before we head back to Oklahoma tomorrow (major sad face), but wanted to throw out the idea that when you are out and about in search of post Christmas sales, keep your mind and eyes open for decorations that could double for Valentine's decor!  There are so many fantastic Christmas bulbs and garlands in pinks, reds and silvers that would for sure spice up any Valentine's gussying up around your home.

So, I have no fancy pics to share, but my wheels are turning, and I hope I can get you thinking differently too as you peruse the 75% off sales (wooo hooo!)
