I had a handful of craft size clothespins on hand, from the vintage clothes installation in
Logan's room (see below) and decided to add a splash of LOVE to the kitchen window.
Supplies:
red card stock (or construction paper), some sort of "clothesline"
(I used hemp rope, but yarn, twine, ribbon, etc. would work)
glitter, glue & craft size clothespins.
I drew the letters with a pencil & cut (don't
fret if there are pencil lines on the edges, the glitter
will hide that). Also, I cut two hearts.
run glue around all of the edges and then run the
glue edges through the glitter to coat edges completely.
Allow glue to dry for a bit (1 hr)
After the glue dries, suspend the letter from the "clothesline".
This project was ridiculously easy and adds just a touch of the new season to a vacant space!
So cute! Love your style.

ReplyDeleteThis is super cute and I wish I could manage cutout letters like that freehand! Nice work! I was trying to think of what to use to hang some color pictures with and hemp is a great idea!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I am totally going to dress up our windows :)
ReplyDeleteI love the little sneak peeks of our home that pop up on this blog. Let's see more!
